About Randy Newell
Randy joined an early-stage nClouds in 2017 to be part of an enormously talented team that is filling a real market need: helping growth companies innovate faster by using a DevOps and cloud approach to modern infrastructure.
Randy caught the tech sector bug right out of college. Soon after graduation, he joined a startup marketing agency that grew by acting as an extension of its clients’ teams, much like nClouds’ service engagement model. Since then, he has participated in the success of five startups, two midsize companies, and two global brands in marketing, sales, and business development leadership roles. Career highlights include successfully pivoting a VC-backed startup following the dot-com bust and leading the subsequent sale to Rational/IBM; filling change-agent and leadership roles in transforming PwC’s go-to-market model and execution, resulting in double-digit organic growth; and cocreating and leading marketing for new categories at IBM, including DevOps. He is the former CMO of nClouds and nOps, and he has direct alliance experience with AWS, BEA Systems, IBM, Ingram Micro, Microsoft, Oracle, PwC, Tech Data, and others.
Randy has an MBA from New York University. When he is not living the dream at nClouds, he is attending music festivals and spending time with his wife and three sons.
