About Kelly Chamberlain

Kelly joined nClouds as COO in May 2022. “I am honored to serve as the chief operating officer at nClouds,” he says. “I have the opportunity to work with the service delivery and finance teams to accelerate the tremendous foundation of the nClouds team to a highly scalable platform for growth.”

His favorite quotation from “The Road Not Taken” resonates strongly with his approach to decision-making. “When faced with choices in business and personal life, I try to consider the less-traveled paths, the paths that lead to adventure and challenge.”

Kelly applies the learnings from his father to his career. “I am where I am today because of my father. From my earliest working memories, my father instilled in me the importance of representing and honoring our family name,” he says. “My dad taught me that the work that I do isn’t only a reflection of myself but is a reflection of my family. I have taken this lifelong lesson to heart and strive to work with complete integrity and diligence in every assignment and responsibility.”

He enjoys working with and building teams that allow team members the opportunity to not only show but expand their talents, capabilities, and capacity. “I believe in being grateful and showing this to those I associate with by acknowledging and recognizing their impact for good.”

Kelly abides by three virtues: humble, hungry, and kind. “I aspire to develop and be known as humble (always recognize the opportunity to develop and improve; recognize and respect those around you), hungry (never be satisfied; seek to continually learn, contribute, and achieve), and kind (be a good person through respect and appreciation of those around you).”

Kelly brings his passion for “the business of business” to his role at nClouds. He has observed that transparency, communication, and achievement are the keys to an organization’s success. “From my earliest job working at a cattle ranch in California to my current position, I have sought to understand the ‘why’ of how successful companies and ventures have become what they are. What makes one enterprise great and another in the same circumstances only good?”

He has a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Southern Utah University.

He is a sought-after moderator and panel member at cybersecurity events in Utah involving local industry leaders and the FBI.

When he’s not focused on helping accelerate nClouds’ growth, Kelly enjoys time and adventures with his family, ice climbing, mountain biking, fly fishing, and backpacking.
